The Jeska was a steam barge that was built in Kingston, Ontario in 1909. It had the official number 126128 and a gross tonnage of 189. The vessel was initially owned by J.H. Davis of Kingston in 1918 and later by J.F. Sowards, also from Kingston, in 1920. The construction of the Jeska was carried out by the Davis Drydock Company in Kingston. It was powered by a 10-20×14 engine manufactured by Selby & Yeldon, also based in Kingston.

Tragically, on July 10, 1926, the Jeska sank near Fairhaven, New York, in the United States. The exact cause of its sinking was not specified, but it is known that the vessel foundered, leading to its final location being at the bottom of the water. This marked the end of its active service, and the Jeska remained submerged in Fairhaven, New York.
