The ADELE was a barge built in 1893 in Yamaska, Quebec. It had an official number of 100714. The barge was constructed as a pin flat with a square stern and was carvel built, meaning the planks were laid edge to edge rather than overlapping. The hull was made of wood.

The ADELE had the following dimensions: a length of 127.3 feet, a beam (width) of 28.5 feet, and a depth of 10.8 feet. It had a gross tonnage of 301.57 and a net tonnage of 297.20.

In 1908, the ADELE met its final disposition. It was wrecked and subsequently abandoned in the inner harbor boneyard located in Kingston, Ontario, on the Cataraqui River, which connects to Lake Ontario. The last recorded owner of the barge was A. Lomer.
