New NOAA 3D Shipwreck Model Released!

Explore the haunting remains of the Banshee — a two-masted schooner built in 1879 as Maple Leaf in Bronte, Ontario. Lost in a gale on October 1, 1924, near Sackets Harbor, NY, the vessel broke apart after dragging anchor in White’s Bay. Today, she rests at 30 feet (9 metres), her portside and bilge lying quiet on the lakebed.
