Dive Summary:
This drift dive offers scenic gliding along the western edge of Grand Island with minimal effort. Divers can expect to find pottery shards, rum-running relics, glass bottles, and other debris settled along the riverbed. Entry can be made from shoreline pull-offs or park areas, depending on the launch point chosen. Divers must be aware of strong current and stay close to shore, maintaining buoyancy and line of sight with their buddy. Surface support (kayak or small craft) is highly recommended.
