Wreck Details: Cesena Aircraft
This small Cesena aircraft lies submerged in Morrison’s Quarry and is a popular attraction for divers practicing underwater navigation, buoyancy, and wreck orientation. It is suspended near platforms with good visibility, especially in spring and early summer before algae blooms peak.

Historical Context of Morrison’s Quarry
Morrison’s Quarry has a long and colorful history in the region. Once a working limestone quarry, it later became a local landmark, social hub, and even a party site in the 1970s and ’80s. It was also used as a training site by local emergency services and scuba clubs before being formalized into a seasonal dive and adventure park.
The site includes submerged structures, training platforms, and a few surprises — including sunken vehicles and infrastructure from earlier quarry operations.
