Description
This site on Lake Temagami is known for its crystal-clear waters, rugged underwater rock formations, and remote wilderness setting. Located within Finlayson Point Provincial Park, the area offers excellent conditions for intermediate and experienced divers seeking a more natural and geological diving experience.
Underwater topography includes large granite boulders, ledges, and potential crevices, making it visually striking. While visibility is generally clear, it may drop quickly due to algae or thermocline layers, especially in late summer. Cold water conditions persist throughout the year—even in shallow zones.
There are no known wrecks at this location, but it’s highly regarded for underwater landscape photography and geology.
