- Designated rendezvous point: The publicly accessible boat launch at the head of Shoepack Bay (road-accessible from Hwy 17/Spanish) — GPS coordinate approx 46°09.683′ N, 82°21.550′ W (i.e., 46.16138, -82.35917) — for ambulance/EMS to meet inland once boat reaches shore.
- Provide exact map/road directions to EMS ahead of time (take‐out point off Hwy 17 near Spanish, parking, clear signage).
