We have just added a model of a Wisconsin tug boat to the 3DShipwrecks.org website and database.

The 58 ft. tug Satisfaction was built in Buffalo, NY in 1871. Not much more historically is recorded for the twenty-eight year career of the Satisfaction. In June of 1899, while towing the schooner barge Tracy J. Bronson with a load of lumber off Sheboygan, WI, the tug caught on fire and burned. The crew escaped to the yawl and took refuge on the barge while a passing steamer Olympia of the Goodrich line attempted to tow the tug to shore. The tug sank before reaching the harbor.

Today the wreck sits in a little more than 100 ft of water and was just discovered so has seen little visitation. The model was created from 2,178 GoPro 5568 x 4872 images shot by our partners Zach Whitrock and the Wisconsin Historical Society crew.

The link to the new model is: https://3dshipwrecks.org/shipwreck-satisfaction/ and the location is shown in the second image.
