Geology: Almost perfectly straight, with occasional outcroppings and slots.

Marine Life: Common sightings of small bass and other freshwater fish.

Scenic Appeal: The clear, pristine water of Lake Huron enhances the beauty of the wall, making it an exceptional dive site.

1. Entry Fee: $19 per vehicle to enter Killbear Provincial Park.

2. Parking: Available near the beach; use the GPS pin provided on dive maps for precise navigation.

3. Swimming Directions:

• Begin by swimming at least 50 ft (15 m) from the cliffs to avoid cliff jumpers.

• Swim parallel to the cliffs until the sandy bottom begins to slope down.

• Once past the cliff-jumping area, return toward the wall and follow it around Harold’s Point as far as desired.

NOTES

Weather Considerations: Post-storm dives may have reduced Visibility but are still manageable.

Comparison to Tobermory: The water clarity rivals that of Tobermory, offering excellent Visibility and an ideal dive setting.

This dive site combines the grandeur of a natural granite wall with the tranquility of Lake Huron’s clear waters, making it a must-visit for divers seeking both beauty and challenge.
