• Irregular Bottom Topography: The uneven lakebed hindered echo sounder readings.

• Thick Vegetation: Dense underwater grass obscured Visibility and made wire drag operations impractical.

• Lack of Local Knowledge: Local boaters and divers were unaware of the wreck, deepening its mystery.

Despite these difficulties, the wreck’s designation as an Existing Datum (ED) was preserved, maintaining its presence on charts and ensuring its historical relevance remains acknowledged.
