The Cormorant was an oil-driven propeller vessel with a gross tonnage of 18. It was built in 1941 in Manitowoc, Michigan and had the U.S. number 240399. The vessel underwent a name change and was known as Russell 4 in 1949 before being renamed Cormorant in 1952.
