Unidentified Hull –

During a hydrographic survey (H9889/80), remains of a fairly large vessel were located at the site. The vessel was estimated to be around 50 meters (approximately 164 feet) long. Some heavy iron plates were observed to be awash at LAT 43-03-51.6N, LONG 78-59-25.9W, with a depth of 2 feet.

Based on the survey evaluation, it was recommended to chart the sunken wreck as shown on the present survey. The information was entered into the Marine Safety Manual (MSM) in September 1988.

As a result, the location of the sunken wreck, along with its size and depth, has been recorded and will be available for navigation reference in relevant charts and documents.
