Austin Horn was a shipbuilder based on Wolfe Island, Ontario, active during the mid-19th century. In 1854, he constructed the wooden schooner Carrier Dove, measuring 88.8 feet in length with a tonnage of 144. This vessel was initially owned by Thomas Davis of Wolfe Island. The Carrier Dove met its demise on May 10, 1867, near Oswego, New York, after being washed out of the river and losing its masts during a storm or strong current. The wreck lies near the fort in Oswego, New York, in Lake Ontario.
