The wreck with the record number 2376 is an unknown submerged shipwreck located at Lat 46.758877, Long -88.458742 in Lake Superior. The wreck was first charted as a visible wreck during a revisory survey in 1936. However, during a revisory survey in 1975, it was revised to be a dangerous sunken wreck. A later survey in 1981, CES14971, verified its position at Lat 46-45-32.2N, Long 88-27-31W using R/AZ control and found it to be in 6 feet of least depth by pole sounding. The wreck lies in a pocket of shoreline ruins, making it difficult to distinguish even with 10 feet of water visibility.
Given its dangerous condition, it is recommended to remain charted as a dangerous submerged wreck.
