However, this position was discredited by an evaluator. Subsequent surveys in 1984 and 1985 determined the wreck’s position more accurately. The wreck was located in LAT 46-36-16.29N, LONG 90-56-48.96W, with a height of 6 feet at LWD.
The wreck is described as an old sailing vessel oriented in the NW-SE direction, with a length of approximately 30 feet. Its hull is wooden and sheathed with steel. The hydrographer recommends the chart to show this wreck as a visible feature.
