About Me
As a scuba diver, photographer, videographer, and explorer of the aquatic realm, I’ve had the privilege of capturing the mysteries of underwater life in the Great Lakes, particularly in Eastern Ontario.
Diving Into the Depths
My passion for scuba diving began as a curiosity and evolved into a lifelong fascination. Over the years, I’ve explored the submerged wonders of the Great Lakes, uncovering their hidden treasures and documenting the incredible biodiversity that thrives beneath the surface. From shipwrecks to vibrant marine life, I’ve been fortunate to witness and share these underwater marvels.
Through the Lens
Photography and videography are not just hobbies; they are my means of storytelling. My work has been featured in newspapers, magazines, books, and even university textbooks. Through the lens, I strive to convey the beauty and fragility of the underwater world, hoping to inspire others to appreciate and protect these ecosystems.
A Multifaceted Journey
My journey has taken me beyond the depths. As a qualified first aid instructor, I’ve equipped others with essential life-saving skills. Additionally, my experience as a small arms operator has further broadened my knowledge and abilities.
Diving Deeper
While my underwater explorations have been a source of endless fascination, my career path has also included a 29-year journey in the military. Along this path, I’ve served in various roles, from administrator to signals expert, gaining a diverse skill set and a deep appreciation for teamwork and discipline.
A Lifelong Explorer
Whether delving into the mysteries of the deep blue or navigating the intricacies of military service, my life has been a journey of exploration and discovery. Through my experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of preserving our underwater heritage and the need to educate others about the wonders and challenges of our aquatic environments.
Join me on this adventure as we dive into the depths, one exploration at a time. Together, we’ll unravel the stories hidden beneath the waves and embark on a mission to protect and conserve the precious ecosystems that lie beneath the surface.
Dive deep, Dive Safe, explore far, and never stop learning.
