Loss of American Vessels Reported  
      During 1918, M. V. list of U. S. 1918 #

ALVA B. Propeller, official U. S. Number 106738, of 83 Gross Tons, and built-in 1890. The vessel was stranded 22 miles West of Cleveland, Lake Erie on Nov. 1, 1917. With eight persons on board, no lives were lost, and the vessel was classed as a total loss.
